An Empire Forgotten is Complete

Finally, after 15 months of continuous work, my first fiction novel, An Empire Forgotten (first draft anyway) is complete. Coming in at around ~110,700 words, ~422 printed pages, 28 chapters, the first story of Archer and Hieronymus is done. w00t!

Book #2, An Empire Embattled has been outlined and I will start writing it soon. Completion is currently scheduled for Mar 2012 barring any calamities to slow me down.

Book #1 still has lots of work to make it ready for publishing. I’m waiting for more feedback on book #1 and giving myself time to forget some of it so that when I start editing it in October it will be fresh and new to me, making it easier to spot problems.

It feels good.

Chapter 27 – The Hand

Synopsis: Archer and Sleide finally meet to settle their outstanding debt, while Magmouskain, Art, and the rest of the dwarven party battle the remaining Hand assassins. Hieronymus battles for his life against time and interference.
